Do you really believe there are 700K "unique" cases pending.
I think elimination of Labor Substitution would take out atleast half of 700 K pending labors..

Please clarify. I thought it is happening on July 14 or 21.

- There is an event organized by a Chinese organization, this is 7th July in San Jose. Please see first post of this thread for details
- Since it is such a short notice for 7th July event, who ever is interested from IV may join it. I will join to show support to the Chinese organization for our cause. You are welcome to join too.
- IV will organize a similar event on 14th July. We will publish details about location/route/time soon.

I did try to talk to customer care but it was of no help.
They tell me to wait for 30 days and sometime 60-90days.
They say you will become actual permanent resident when you get the card The card is important.
You now USCIS don’t know when they will change their minds.

To better be on safe side to get it stamped on my passport. I took info pass on 09-11-08 it will be almost 30 days,

let’s wait and see

The answer is in your question. Numbers. A few years ago (circa 2002-) no one complained much about Indians. Recently the complaints in the media/forums etc. are much higher. Why ? More H1, => more bodyshoppers (mainly India) => more abuse => more complaints and so on.

Also FYI, H1 is "temporary" just like F1. H1 is not a guarantee to GC. So you need to go back after 6 years, since you say F1 should leave after graduation.

Yeah no one else does fraud, another anti Indian in this forum.
